Welcome to the second day of the Blogger Book Fair!
I decided to do some author interviews, but to keep things fresh I (of course) asked for responses in haiku. Here are the first third of the results. I will post the second half tomorrow and the final third on the final day of the fair. Enjoy! BTW- don’t forget about my giveaway for the fair!
The questions:
Why do you write? What was the most important thing you’ve gained personally through writing? What has been the most difficult to overcome? Here are the responses:
From Dan O’Brien:
To watch the faces, To walk among the unknown, To reveal new worlds A sense of purpose, A rhyme and reason to live, A piece to call mine Marketing myself, Do the dance of promotion, Walking without fear

From A. Jarrell Hays
I write because I have yet to read the stories dancing in my mind. Expression! Freedom! I can create anything– with lots of effort. Procrastination! Your arguments are forceful, but lead to ruin.

From Rebecca Hamilton
My mind creates lives that still do not yet exist so I create books. I always wanted to discover my talent in art. Now I have. Sometimes, letting go, allowing the words to fly, without freezing up.

Much thanks to these authors for the heartfelt responses to my somewhat tongue and cheek request. I really appreciated the insights this exposed.

Thanks for hosting me on your site. It was a lot of fun.
You bet Dan!
Awesome Haiku’s guys!
